Buffalo, NY – Stark Tech, a leader in facility and energy optimization, has recently expanded its board of directors. Included in those additions is Paul DellaNeve, Vice President of Corporate Development for Moog Inc., as Mergers and Acquisitions Expert.

Paul joins the board to bring outside expertise and leadership in streamlining processes for new mergers and acquisitions. He is currently a key player in Moog’s success as a $2.9B public company. Paul established Moog’s Corporate Development function that moved away from ad hoc acquisition methods to a better focused set of M&A processes, expanding M&A beyond acquisitions to include partnerships and encourage collaboration.

Stark Tech Expands Board of Directors with Addition of Clean-Tech Expert

Buffalo, NY – Stark Tech, a leader in facility and energy optimization, has recently expanded its board of directors. Included in those additions is John Powers, President and co-founder of CleanCapital.

He joins the board to bring outside expertise and leadership in clean-tech. Stark recently added three new companies to its portfolio to expand offerings as a clean-tech provider.

Jon will help guide the board in decisions that elevate the solutions and capabilities to the markets Stark serves, which now include renewable natural gas, battery energy storage, and turnkey renewable development, focused on, but not limited to, solar and biogas solutions.

Jon is a clean energy and national security expert committed to making clean energy accessible to everyone. He currently leads the business development and marketing divisions for CleanCapital.  Prior to that, he led public sector business development at Bloom Energy. His passion for clean energy stems from his time serving with the U.S. Army in Iraq, where he learned how vital clean energy is to protecting America’s national security. He helped to revolutionize the U.S. Army’s energy program, first as Special Adviser for Energy to the Assistant Secretary of the Army and later as Director of Outreach for the Army’s Energy Initiatives Task Force. In 2012, Jon was appointed to the post of Federal Chief Sustainability Officer by President Obama.

Stark Tech Expands Board of Directors with Addition of Utility, Grid Expert

Buffalo, NY – Stark Tech, a leader in facility and energy optimization, has recently expanded its board of directors. Included in those additions is Larry Reilly, lecturer at Yale University, who brings expertise in the electric grid.

Larry brings more than 30 years of experience understanding the electric grid having served as President and CEO of Central Vermont Public Service Corporation (CVPS) from March 2011 through June 2012. Prior to joining CVPS, he spent 26 years with National Grid USA and its predecessor company, New England Electric System (NEES), in a variety of positions of increasing responsibility including President of the NEES Distribution Companies and Executive Vice President, Legal and Regulatory. He currently serves on the Boards of Green Mountain Power Corporation, Vermont Electric Power Company, and Daymark Energy Advisors as Treasurer of the Samuel Huntington Foundation, Inc.

This year, Stark’s board made the decision to expand its capabilities to include clean-tech solutions in response to new regulatory guidelines and government incentives pushing renewable integration. Buffalo, NY – Stark Tech, a leader in facility and energy optimization, has recently expanded its board of directors as a Financial Expert. Included in those additions is Alexis Becker, Director at Freed Maxick. She is the Accounting Firm’s Accounting and Advisory Services Practice Leader.

She joins the board to bring outside expertise and leadership in financial planning and analysis. Stark has seen tremendous growth over the last 10 years both organically and through acquisitions. Alexis will help guide the board in evaluating current and future investments, guiding on strategy to improve profitability of the company, and examining and advising on efficiencies within the company. She will lead Stark’s audit committee.

Alexis has extensive professional compliance and consulting experience gained from working collaboratively with an array of clients. She has deep functional experience gained from her various roles within a global hospitality conglomerate. While there, she evolved the internal audit function from a unit­ level compliance driven function to an enterprise risk-focused function. She also built the organization’s revenue management function and consolidated siloed subsidiary FP&A functions into a centralized shared service function.
